Job Summary
As a North Carolina Licensed Pharmacist, the full-time salaried position will verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers in a fast-paced, remote environment focused on improving patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide proactive patient counseling and handle inbound clinical inquiries related to prescriptions
- Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and minimize dispensing delays
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active North Carolina Pharmacy License in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail
- Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms
- Ability to provide bilingual counseling in Spanish preferred
