North Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support medication access and optimization, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work primarily remotely, assisting patients, prescribers, and payers to resolve medication-related barriers while contributing to process improvements and enhancing patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of regulations and utilize electronic systems to document patient interactions and track eligibility
• Conduct pre-visit assessments and schedule appointments for patients with pharmacists
• Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries and support operational tasks to improve workflow and patient care

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy; CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT preferred
• Two years of pharmacy technician experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desired
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records programs
