Job Summary
Supporting medication access and optimization, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work remotely to manage prior authorization support and financial assistance enrollment for outpatient prescriptions while collaborating with patients, prescribers, and payers.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of service line regulations and external support programs
- Proactively identify opportunities for intervention and develop solutions to customer concerns
- Utilize internal systems and electronic health records to document and track patient eligibility and program enrollment
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program
- CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program
- Two years of pharmacy technician experience or three years of relevant experience in a related field
- Ability to obtain CPhT certification within two years if hired as a non-technician with qualified experience
