North Carolina Licensed Project Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Utilities practice area, the hybrid remote North Carolina Licensed Project Engineer will develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models for water distribution and wastewater collection systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance system performance and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, calibrate, and maintain hydraulic models for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Analyze model results and provide data-driven recommendations for system planning and design
- Support project teams with system assessments, master planning, and infrastructure design solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of related experience for Project Engineer level; 10+ years for Senior Project Engineer level
- Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain license within 12 months of hiring)
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software, including WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, SewerCAD, and PCSWMM
- Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D
