Job Summary
Handling property claims telephonically, the full-time Inside Property Adjuster will manage investigations, evaluate coverage, and document claims from a branch office in North Carolina, requiring a North Carolina Licensed Property Adjuster.
Key responsibilities
- Contacts policyholders to conduct investigations, interviews, and inspections related to property claims
- Evaluates claims, sets reserves, and determines payments or declines based on coverage assessments
- Documents claim files and submits final reports for closure while identifying subrogation situations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous claims experience preferred
- Willingness to pursue and complete Technical Learning Center Training required
- Appropriate state license required; successful completion of AIC 33 and AIC 35 preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred
