Job Summary
Managing the entire claims lifecycle for homeowners, the fully remote North Carolina Licensed Property Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements for property claims while ensuring excellent customer service through clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate property claims from start to finish, confirming facts of loss and determining coverage
- Assess damages and negotiate settlements within assigned authority, including supplements and Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, contractors, and partners throughout the claims process
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina adjuster license or a license qualifying for reciprocity in applicable states
- Proficiency in Xactimate software
- Strong foundation in claims handling, including supplements, ALE, and personal property losses
- Experience in both field and desk settings for claims management
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment
