Job Summary
To support a growing virtual crisis care program, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide telehealth behavioral health care, including clinical assessments, medication management, and personalized treatment plans, while working remotely with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop differential diagnoses
- Provide psychiatric medication management and create personalized treatment plans
- Manage a caseload of patients, conducting risk assessments and safety planning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (or equivalent non-U.S. degree)
- Master of Science in Nursing degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (or equivalent non-U.S. degree)
- Active license to practice in North Carolina
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatric medication management
- Experience with clinical assessments, risk management, and safety planning
