Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time or full-time North Carolina Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and psychiatric disorders via telemedicine, collaborating with a treatment team to ensure integrated medical and support services.
Key responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care for MAT and other psychiatric disorders through telemedicine
- Collaborates with team members to integrate medical services with whole-person support services
- Ensures compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in medical care and documentation
Required qualifications
- Current active, unencumbered Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in North Carolina
- MSN degree or higher
- Active DEA Registration for controlled substances
- Current National Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience prescribing MAT in a clinical setting
