North Carolina Licensed Psychologist Reviewer

Job Summary

Seeking a Remote North Carolina Licensed Psychologist Reviewer, the full-time position will review psychological testing and treatment documentation for medical necessity and quality of care while maintaining a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct peer reviews with psychologists and behavioral health therapists for outpatient services and psychological testing requests
• Educate network practitioners on best practice models and utilization management processes
• Respond to state, provider, and member complaints related to psychological testing or services requiring review by a PhD/PsyD

Required qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or related field
• Active Psychologist Unrestricted License (PhD or PsyD) upon hire
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health
• Working knowledge of psychological tests, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based practices
• For ABA Reviewers, knowledge of practices designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is required
