Job Summary
Managing patient admissions and flow, the full-time North Carolina Licensed RN Patient Flow Coordinator will triage internal medicine admissions for hospitalists, primarily working remotely in 12-hour shifts, three days a week, including weekends, while collaborating with physicians and utilizing technology for efficient patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Triage internal medicine admissions and coordinate patient flow for hospitalists across multiple locations
- Conduct intensive chart reviews and manage secure communication with the Hospitalist Group
- Respond promptly and accurately to messages within secure chat groups to ensure efficient patient placement
Required qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with preference for triage and emergency department experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
