Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Specialist, Clinical Documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reviews of inpatient medical records to identify and address documentation issues
• Facilitate improvement in clinical documentation quality and accuracy through collaboration with healthcare team members
• Provide education and training on documentation guidelines to clinical staff and physicians

Required Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCDS, or CDIP preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or related fields
• Prior experience with clinical record review and CDI software preferred
