Job Summary

North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer, seeking a full-time, salaried professional to perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
• P.E. license required, North Carolina PE preferred
• 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
• 5 years of project management experience preferred
• Experience working on DOT design projects is required
