North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer

Job Summary

To support and grow the Transportation Practice, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers, with the option to work remotely from within North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate design activities among team members and clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
• P.E. license required, with a preference for North Carolina PE
• 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
