North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Transportation Practice, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers, with the option for fully remote work for candidates located in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinate design activities with clients and subcontractors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
• P.E. license required, with North Carolina PE preferred
• 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
