North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer
Job Summary
To support the growth of the Transportation Practice, the full-time salaried North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers while working onsite in Raleigh, NC or remotely within North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
- Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinate design activities with clients and subcontractors
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- P.E. license required; North Carolina PE preferred
- 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
