Job Summary
To support and grow the Transportation Practice, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and bid packages, and mentor junior engineers while working onsite in Kernersville, NC or remotely within North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
- Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinate design activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
- P.E. license required, North Carolina PE preferred
- 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
