Job Summary
To support and grow the Transportation Practice, the full-time salaried North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers, with the option to work remotely from North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
- Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
- Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 4+ years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
- Experience working with DOT design projects, with NCDOT or ODOT experience preferred
