Job Summary
Providing legal counsel to senior leaders and management teams, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Senior Counsel will support Lenovo's AI Ecosystem team by managing contract negotiations, offering legal guidance on business transactions, and collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Understanding and advising on business models, legal risks, and solution-oriented approaches to complex legal-business-technical issues
- Negotiating complex technology and service agreements, including confidentiality and license agreements
- Developing legal efficiencies to enhance contract processes and operations while collaborating closely with the Global AI Legal Team
Required qualifications
- JD or LLM and admission to practice
- 12+ years of counseling, drafting, and negotiation experience in a technology-focused environment
- Experience with AI technology, products, and services
- Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
