North Carolina Licensed Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary

Providing critical oversight and coordination with vendor project managers, the remote Senior IT Project Manager will manage project execution for the HIEA team, ensuring compliance with Medicaid requirements and supporting whole-person healthcare for beneficiaries over a 9-month duration.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Medicaid and clinical knowledge to partner with analysts, clarify requirements, and track UAT issues through resolution
• Oversee vendor implementation projects to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, directing scope, schedules, risks, communication, and change control

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in IT project management, particularly in healthcare or Medicaid environments
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Experience in vendor management and compliance oversight
• Ability to develop integrated project plans and manage multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and issue tracking
