Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substance Use Counselor - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate guidance in individual and group counseling sessions
• Plan, oversee, facilitate, and document patients' recovery and treatment plans
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, and provide crisis intervention as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
• Degree must be from an accredited institution with a practicum for licensing
• Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings is required
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and evidence-based practices
• Licenses or Certifications such as CADC-I, CADC, LCAS-A, LCAS, LCSW-A, LCSW, LCMHC-A, or LCMHC are required
