North Carolina Licensed Tax Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Consultant (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Support investment tax and income tax compliance and accounting/reporting
• Prepare federal and state income tax returns and related workpapers
• Assist with tax audits and support SOX requirements for reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 1-3 years of income tax accounting and compliance experience
• Experience in a tax practice of a major accounting firm preferred
• Working proficiency with tax software and investment accounting systems
• Experience with tax accounting for various investment types
