Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth initiative, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Telehealth Nurse will engage in patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with care teams while working remotely during weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission to post-discharge
- Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans in collaboration with the care team to influence care outcomes
- Administers medications and treatments safely while maintaining accurate EHR documentation
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact or single-state license
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care needs
- Experience in telehealth or virtual nursing practices is preferred
