Job Summary
To provide primary-care telemedicine services, the part-time remote North Carolina Licensed Teletriage Nurse Practitioner will manage patient consultations, perform tele triage, and maintain communication with facility staff while adhering to established protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver primary-care telemedicine services in accordance with site-specific protocols and standards of care
- Provide on-call tele triage, ensuring proper patient consent and equipment availability for telemedicine visits
- Establish and maintain effective communication with facility staff, providing necessary feedback and instructions regarding patient care
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and valid license to practice advanced practice nursing or physician assistant in North Carolina, with additional licenses in KY and IN preferred
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or internal medicine is desired
- All necessary certifications must be current and valid
- Knowledge of telemedicine practices and healthcare regulations is essential
