Job Summary
To support the Foster Care Department, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Training Specialist will recruit, train, and license foster parents, provide pre-service training, and ensure compliance with training requirements while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit and train potential foster parents, guiding them through the licensing process and maintaining compliance
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of potential foster parents based on state and agency policies
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to licensed foster parents, ensuring safe placements for children
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with credentialing and licensing standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Successful completion of a drug screening test and extensive background check
