Job Summary

Recruiting and training foster parents, the full-time hybrid North Carolina Licensed Training Specialist will assess potential foster parents, guide them through the licensing process, and ensure compliance with training requirements while providing support to maintain child placements.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and license foster parents while providing pre-service training and ongoing support
• Assess and evaluate potential foster parents based on state and agency policies, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements
• Engage in public speaking and marketing efforts to recruit families for the foster care program

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Valid Driver's License and compliance with credentialing standards as a Qualified Professional in North Carolina
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Successful completion of a drug screening test and extensive background check
