Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Counsel to handle title insurance and real estate settlement services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large volumes of files and time-sensitive materials related to transaction matters
• Underwrite title insurance issuance and provide guidance on real estate settlement services
• Offer underwriting support and counsel to personnel, agents, and clients regarding title insurance commitments and policies

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor; active and current member of a State Bar
• 10+ years of experience as Underwriting Counsel
• Knowledge of the title insurance industry, including products, policies, and endorsements
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents
• Knowledge of insurance coverage and real estate terminology
