Job Summary
To support pet families in Charlotte and surrounding areas, a part-time North Carolina Licensed Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, focusing on compassionate care without the constraints of a non-compete contract.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a dignified experience for families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while working independently in a mobile environment
- Communicate professionally with pet owners and team members, providing support during end-of-life decisions
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
