Job Summary
To support healthcare analytics initiatives, the full-time remote North Carolina Medical Economics Analyst will perform detailed statistical analysis, create and manage reports on care utilization and financial forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor care utilization metrics and develop related reports
- Create and maintain financial models to assess the impact of medical cost action plans
- Utilize SQL and Excel to develop dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in finance or analytics, preferably in healthcare
- Expert proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Thorough knowledge of financial data analysis methodologies
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
