Job Summary

A company is looking for a Merchant Sales Officer specializing in Specialty Verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively sells Merchant Services solutions to specialty vertical clients and participates in prospecting activities for new clients
• Partners with operations team and vendors to research and deliver complex processing solutions to enhance client operations
• Recommends pricing and processing strategies while maintaining strong knowledge of industry products and competitor offerings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial or Merchant Sales, or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in the same field
• Preferred experience of a minimum of 8 years in financial or merchant sales
• Preferred certifications include Certified Payments Professional and Certified Treasury Professional
• Strong knowledge of the payments industry and sales planning
• Experience in business development and forecasting
