North Carolina Nurse Disability Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant, Nurse Disability.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical information to clarify diagnoses and assess the severity of medical conditions
• Act as a clinical resource for claim professionals and provide recommendations for optimal claim management
• Coordinate with Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinators and manage assigned caseload effectively

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state of employment
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room, Critical Care, Orthopedics, or similar fields
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Knowledge of Disability Management, Workers Compensation, and nurse case management is advantageous
