North Carolina or South Carolina Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide after-hours telephonic care, the part-time North Carolina or South Carolina Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality support to aging residents and facility staff, managing high call volumes and performing telehealth visits from a remote location.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of support for residents and facility staff after-hours, providing medical care and direction over the phone
• Utilize Curana's telephonic platform to coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document encounters accurately in the EMR, ensuring compliance with CMS requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current unrestricted NP license in South Carolina or North Carolina; additional licenses in Florida and Georgia preferred
• Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP
• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a background in acute and chronic disease management
• Proficient computer skills for documenting medical information in written and electronic medical records
