Job Summary
Offering peer support and guidance, the full-time North Carolina Peer Recovery Coach will manage a caseload of members remotely, providing emotional support, monitoring tests, and collaborating with clinical teams to aid individuals in their recovery journey.
Key responsibilities
- Provide peer support via text and video, ensuring a human presence during critical moments
- Monitor toxicology and breathalyzer tests over video, and build personalized relapse prevention plans
- Collaborate with each member's clinical team and conduct weekly check-ins to track progress
Required qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of continuous sobriety and be open about personal recovery experiences
- Hold a Peer Recovery Support Specialist credential in North Carolina
- Experience as a case manager, counselor, or similar role is preferred
- Comfortable with technology, including apps and video calls
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
