North Carolina Peer Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
• Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care transitions
• Maintain communication with patients and care team members, reporting on patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of documented professional experience in peer support
• 1+ years experience navigating adjunctive OUD treatment resources
• Active peer certification in state of residence
• Minimum of two years of recovery from lived-experience in substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders
• Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
