Job Summary
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
- Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care transitions
- Maintain communication with patients and care team members, reporting on patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of documented professional experience in peer support
- 1+ years experience navigating adjunctive OUD treatment resources
- Active peer certification in state of residence
- Minimum of two years of recovery from lived-experience in substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders
- Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
