Job Summary
To support the growing demand for mental health services, a part-time contract North Carolina Pre-Licensed Therapist will provide individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQ+ clients, delivering affirming, trauma-informed care while working toward full licensure with the support of free clinical supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy in a telehealth setting, utilizing evidence-based treatment tailored to LGBTQ+ clients
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
- Participate in regular clinical supervision to support professional development toward independent licensure
Required qualifications
- Active North Carolina license as an LCSWA, LCMHCA, or LMFTA
- Experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients
- Cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfortable providing individual therapy in a telehealth setting
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
