Job Summary
Providing operational support to the ROOTS Hub Director and regional Connectors, the full-time hourly North Carolina Program Specialist will coordinate meetings, manage documentation, and facilitate communication among stakeholders while working remotely within North Carolina.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as clerk to the ROOTS Hub Governing Body, preparing agendas and recording meeting minutes
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities and manage schedules, meetings, and event logistics
- Support engagement and collaboration among community partners and stakeholders to advance regional Hub initiatives
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community/stakeholder partnerships and project implementation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Familiarity with grant administration and compliance practices preferred
- Knowledge of governance structures and stakeholder engagement processes
