Job Summary
Managing quality assurance and performance improvement activities, the full-time salaried North Carolina Quality Improvement Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of QAPI initiatives while working remotely from home.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage internal Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives
- Conduct analysis of quality and performance measures to identify deficits and design Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs)
- Develop stakeholder feedback tools and ensure compliance with reporting and assessment requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least two years of quality assurance and improvement experience
- Knowledge of QAPI principles and federal/state Medicaid regulations
- Experience in data collection and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and Word
- Preferred experience in a behavioral or medical managed care environment
