Job Summary
To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the full-time North Carolina Reimbursement Specialist will analyze departmental reports, ensure compliance in billing processes, and coordinate projects aimed at improving revenue cycle efficiency, all while working remotely from North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze departmental reports and provide feedback to improve performance and compliance in billing
- Coordinate projects and audits to enhance revenue cycle processes and collection efforts
- Develop and deliver job-specific training to new and existing employees within the department
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with post-secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Four years of related experience in healthcare, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field as a substitute for experience
- Knowledge of clinical and coding practices to ensure accurate billing
- Experience in managing accounts receivable and financial reporting systems
- Ability to analyze trends and make recommendations for departmental goals and objectives
