North Carolina SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier III Security Operations Center SOC Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify cybersecurity problems and recommend mitigating controls
• Analyze network traffic for exploit or intrusion attempts and suggest detection mechanisms
• Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems and support incident response efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of IT security experience
• 2+ years of experience in network traffic analysis
• Strong working knowledge of Boolean Logic, TCP/IP Fundamentals, and Threat Management
• Knowledge of Control Frameworks and Risk Management techniques
