Job Summary
Supporting the management team, the remote North Carolina Strategic Services Associate will act as a liaison to stakeholders, focusing on enhancing operational performance through eligibility, prior authorization, and medical necessity processes while implementing performance improvement strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement strategies to enhance performance and reduce denials and write-offs
- Evaluate operational workflows and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with service lines and clinics to educate on pre-service verification processes and resolve workflow issues
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 3 years focused on performance/process improvement
- Experience leading work teams
- Knowledge of revenue cycle operations
- Strong analytical skills for identifying opportunities for improvement
