North Dakota Eligibility Lead Worker

Job Summary

Providing training and support to team members, the full-time Eligibility Lead Worker will determine eligibility for various economic assistance programs while ensuring case accuracy and compliance with state and federal policies, with the flexibility to work remotely and report to the Minot office at least once a month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing training and onboarding for new employees
• Review work for timeliness and accuracy while coaching team members on complex issues
• Field client communications and prepare program-related materials for distribution

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of work experience related to determining eligibility for human services economic assistance programs
• Completion of an eligibility worker one-year certificate program or 90 semester hours of a bachelor's degree
• Three years of experience in claims processing, financial eligibility benefits, or related fields
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to three years in relevant fields
