Job Summary
Managing field research activities, the full-time salaried North Dakota Licensed Agronomic Manager will implement research testing, manage data, and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines while overseeing local research site operations.
Key responsibilities
- Implement small replicated plots or field scale research testing as required
- Manage data using internal database systems and ensure timely submission of high-quality data
- Oversee local research site activities and recruit temporary assistants, ensuring compliance and safety training is completed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of crop production in the assigned geography, including corn, canola, soybean, and specialty crops
- Advanced knowledge of precision farming/GIS systems
- Obtain and maintain a pesticide applicator certification in the state within the territory
- Hold a current Commercial Driver License (CDL) or have the ability to obtain one
