Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Temporary Field Inspector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outdoor land inspections on school trust land property, including rights of way, oil well sites, and reclamation efforts
• Navigate uneven terrain using vehicles or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs/UTVs) and utilize technology such as GPS and tablets
• Professionally communicate with the public regarding inspection findings and land management practices

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in plant identification, soil, farming, ranching, or natural resources
• A bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the experience requirement
• Understanding of land descriptions
• Proficiency in using tablets, smartphones, and handheld GPS devices
• Valid North Dakota driver's license and insurance
