Job Summary
Providing technical support for the STAGEnet infrastructure, the full-time Tier II Network Analyst will resolve network incidents, ensure DHCP functionality, and monitor network operations and security compliance, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite one day a week for local candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve network incidents and customer requests via ServiceNow
- Administer DHCP, MAC, IP addressing, and DNS while configuring firewall rule sets
- Proactively monitor the network to identify and resolve issues, including VPN problems and outages
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Network Systems, or a related field
- At least one year of experience in planning, designing, installing, testing, and supporting large network infrastructures
- Ability to substitute additional work experience for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis
- Residence within North Dakota or a border community, or ability to relocate within 30 days of an offer
- Understanding of organizational security policies and compliance efforts
