Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Northeast Licensed Energy Engineer will translate complex energy concepts for clients, lead client meetings on energy usage and costs, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for energy efficiency projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Translate complex energy concepts and technical findings for non-technical decision makers during client interactions
  • Lead client meetings to discuss energy usage, billing mechanics, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for energy efficiency upgrades
  • Monitor new utility programs and regulatory changes, collaborating with clients to develop strategies that optimize energy consumption
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or a related Engineering discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in facilities engineering, energy engineering, or a similar role
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using Excel and AI tools for energy data analysis
  • Working knowledge of electricity and natural gas markets, utility tariffs, and demand response programs preferred
