Northeast Ohio Organizer

Job Summary

To support grassroots organizing efforts in Northeast Ohio, the full-time temporary Northeast Ohio Organizer will build relationships with activists, manage outreach events for the 2026 election cycle, and develop volunteer leaders while working remotely and occasionally in-person for meetings and events.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with individual activists, members, and leaders to strengthen grassroots support
• Organize phone banking, text banking, canvassing, and postcarding events to engage voters for the upcoming election cycle
• Identify and collaborate with allied organizations to align campaign goals and tactics

Required qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in organizing
• Proven ability to train and develop the skills of volunteer leaders
• Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships and building alliances with organizations that influence decision-makers
• Experience with organizing tools such as Spoke, Slack, Mobilize, and Action Network
• Familiarity with working with a diverse group of volunteers across various demographics
