NSAH Support Specialist

Job Summary

Providing trauma-informed support, the part-time NSAH Support Specialist will assist users of the National Sexual Assault Hotline during overnight shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11:00 PM ET to 7:00 AM ET, delivering crisis intervention and maintaining high-quality service standards in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to provide compassionate support to hotline users
• Answer inbound crisis-intervention calls and online chats, ensuring timely and accurate assistance
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality assurance efforts and facilitate online group chat services

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in social services, customer service, or crisis intervention
• Fluency in English; Spanish fluency may be required for certain roles
• Ability to pass a typing test with a minimum score of 35 WPM
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications for communication and data management
• Must be 18 years of age or older and complete a criminal background check
