Nuclear Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in US nuclear cyber security regulations, the full-time Lead Cyber Security Engineer 1 will review Critical Digital Asset assessments, support software and hardware installations on plant digital systems, and implement cyber security controls within nuclear power environments.

Key responsibilities

• Review Critical Digital Asset determinations and assessments for technical accuracy
• Support the installation of software and hardware on plant digital systems
• Perform tasks related to changing device settings to implement cyber security controls

Required qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems
• Demonstrated expertise in nuclear power cyber security
• Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control systems is preferred
• Basic understanding of cyber security and knowledge of networks are essential
