Nuclear Electrical Engineering Consultant

Job Summary

Providing technical supervision and support for challenging projects, the part-time temporary Nuclear Electrical Engineering Consultant will investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a variety of electrical engineering issues while ensuring project deliverables meet technical, quality, and budgetary expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
• Interface with clients to validate project scope and ensure satisfaction while mentoring junior engineers

Required qualifications

• BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 10 years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
• 3 years of experience leading an engineering design group through all phases of project design
• Experience with electrical system design including low and medium voltage distribution systems
• PE Licensure is preferred
