Job Summary
Providing technical supervision and support for challenging projects, the part-time temporary Nuclear Electrical Engineering Consultant will investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a variety of electrical engineering issues while ensuring project deliverables meet technical, quality, and budgetary expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical supervision to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables
- Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
- Interface with clients to validate project scope and ensure satisfaction while mentoring junior engineers
Required qualifications
- BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- 10 years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
- 3 years of experience leading an engineering design group through all phases of project design
- Experience with electrical system design including low and medium voltage distribution systems
- PE Licensure is preferred
