Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Shielding and Criticality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MCNP calculations and document results in calculation packages
Conduct radiation shielding calculations for gammas and neutrons
Work effectively in a remote environment under NQA-1 quality standards

Required Qualifications and Education

B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ years
Strong MCNP skills and experience in radiation shielding calculations
Familiarity with variance reduction techniques and features of MCNP
Experience working under NQA-1 quality program is desirable
Strong computational expertise and programming skills, preferably in Python
