Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Shielding and Criticality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MCNP calculations and document them in formal calculation packages
Conduct radiation shielding calculations for gammas and neutrons
Support criticality safety assessments and related engineering tasks

Required Qualifications and Education

B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ years
Strong MCNP skills and experience in radiation shielding calculations
Familiarity with variance reduction techniques and MCNP features
Experience working under NQA-1 quality standards is desirable
Strong computational expertise and programming skills are a plus
